    However, It is far less expensive to harness biomass energy than fossil fuels mining and extraction.

    That is not to say that Biomass would not mitigate our foreseeable future energy landscape.

    As with every fuel source, there are advantages and disadvantages, but as you can see, the advantages of bioenergy much exceed the disadvantages, particularly when compared to fossil fuels.
