One of the most significant technological revolutions in human history is being caused by the mobile phone.
Smartphones are an essential aspect of modern life since they allow us to interact from almost anywhere (as long as there is a phone signal), access the Internet, and check e-mails and social media accounts.
In this 21st century, many companies have significant market shares providing people with smartphones with more innovative and advanced technologies that make their lives easier in many ways.
Apple, Samsung, One plus, Oppo, and Xiaomi are examples of market-leading smartphone companies. Among these companies, Apple and Samsung have been leading for a decade.
Apple supports different ecosystems and operating systems, whereas Samsung, One plus, etc., support the Android operating system made by Google.
Apple and Samsung smartphones are much more costly, but some companies like Xiaomi and one plus provide smartphones with high-end features at a much lower price.

Beginning of One Plus Flagship
One plus is a new smartphone brand started by two former Oppo employees in 2013. Their goal was to create a flagship phone that fulfilled all of the boxes that Android lovers needed.
Everyone desired a sleek design, powerful specs, the lightest and most efficient software, and a reasonable price. With the debut of the OnePlus One in 2014, the dream became a reality.
OnePlus has grown from its humble origins as an online-only niche smartphone manufacturer to a global powerhouse. Considering it’s been less than eight years, it’s quite an accomplishment.
It was nicknamed “the flagship killer” and received excellent user feedback. Due to its increased phone prices and providing more flagship standard phones, there are different pros and cons of having one plus phone.
Pros of One Plus phones
Some pros of having one plus phones can be mainly divided into three categories: performance, build quality and design, battery life, and somehow reliable main cameras.
The latest phone from one plus is the one plus ten Pro, the company’s flagship smartphone. Let’s discuss the pros by referring to the one plus ten pros. Some Pros of One plus phones are as follows:-
1. Performance
Regarding performance, OnePlus phones have always been considered lightning fast. The best possible processor was added since the launch of the first-ever OnePlus phone model.
One plus 10 pro has the latest and one of the most powerful processors in android phones, i.e., Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC.
The phone can handle any task you throw at it, whether playing intensive games or browsing the web and watching videos.
The handset can run graphically intensive games, achieve remarkable results in synthetic tests, and multitask between a dozen or more programs.
In contrast, the phone does become a little warm to the touch when gaming or running resource-intensive apps, but the phone’s performance does not suffer.
2. Display Refresh Rate
The 120Hz Fluid Display of the phone also helps the high-end phone run smoothly and faster. Scrolling and browsing your phone will be easier and faster.
3. Excellent Battery life
One plus battery isn’t that interesting but has decent performance. With the display resolution set to FHD+, the powerful phone can survive a full day on a single charge, but with QHD+ resolution, you’ll need to plug it in by the evening.
However, the smartphone does come with an 80W cable charger that can fully charge the gadget in about 40 minutes.
Wireless charging is also supported, surprisingly faster than some competing wired charging protocols.
The handset, for example, can be charged wirelessly at 50W using the company’s own Warp Wireless charger, which is fantastic.
The best model of Oneplus is Oneplus Nord 2T which has a 4500 mAh battery. The not-so-expensive phone has a dynamic range of colors.
Moving away from its previous model’s morning mist trademark, the base model has Green Wood, Blue Haze, and Grey Siera vivid colors.
4. Clean OS
On the other hand, the OnePlus 10 Pro software leaves a lot to be desired. ColorOS influence the UI, and the interface feels clunkier than prior OxygenOS Versions.
But the OS is clean and much easier to use. The OnePlus 10 Pro ships running on Oxygen OS 12.1. The OnePlus OxygenOS operating system with true flagship features had a lot of fans.
Most of us loved it until OnePlus messed it up by synchronizing it with ColorOS. The brand has attempted to change its course after the criticism, but it is still a work in progress.
5. Cameras
The OnePlus 10 Pro has a triple camera stack on the rear, a 48MP Sony IMX789 sensor, a 50MP Samsung JN1 ultrawide sensor with a 150-degree field of view, and an 8MP telephoto sensor with 3.3x optical zoom.
The device has a 32MP front-facing camera for selfies. As a result, the camera setup on the phone is mainly unaltered from the OnePlus 9 Pro.
The primary sensor on the OnePlus 10 Pro with a curved display captures excellent photographs, and the company has teamed with Hasselblad once again to produce the most realistic colors in any shot.
In cameras, main cameras are more reliable and give color-corrected pictures. It can also be said as a pro of having one plus Phones.
6. Design
OnePlus knows how to make good-looking phones, and the company’s latest model does not disappoint.
The smartphone is notable for being entirely made of glass and metal, giving it a great sensation in hand.
Furthermore, the phone has a distinct appearance that can be attributed, at least in part, to the phone’s massive ceramic camera module.
The design of the phone is relatively user-friendly. It is very comfortable to use. You should be able to use and handle the phone comfortably.
The OnePlus Nord 10 Pro also comes with the company’s signature alert slider, which will come in handy if you frequently jump in and out of meetings.
And the phone’s in-display fingerprint sensor, while not as quick as the one on the iQOO 9 Pro, unlocks the phone in a flash.
The smartphone also has facial recognition, which works just as well, so there are no complaints.
Cons of One plus phones
No phone in the world is perfect. Like other phones, it has many cons. Some cons of having one plus phones are as follows:-
1. Cameras
On color dynamics, OnePlus has made significant progress over the years. However, a few rear camera issues need to be worked out.
Colors are enhanced by AI scene optimization to make photographs more appealing. The camera casts a yellowish color while taking pictures in warm tones.
It has improved a lot from its predictors in the night mode, but it falls behind in other competition. Ultra-wide and Telephoto cameras are not good enough as their primary camera.
2. No IP rating
The phone lacks an official IP rating, which disappoints when you spend an upwards price range of 5000$ on the phone.
OnePlus is now selling a “weatherproof” 10 Pro in some areas to add insult to injury, though at a premium.
On the plus side, the phone comes with Corning’s Gorilla Glass Victus on the back, which should last a long time.
3. Integration with ColorOS
The UI is heavily influenced in recent phones such as Oneplus Nord N10 by ColorOS and feels clunkier than earlier OxygenOS iterations.
The smartphone’s custom launcher includes some unusual-looking folder icons that stick out like a sore thumb.
Not to mention that swiping down from the top-right corner of the screen activates the handset’s Shelf function, which may be frustrating when trying to access your notifications.
4. Bit Expensive
One plus phones were the smartphone brand that would provide flagship-level smartphones at a lower price. But it is not the case now.
Although it is a little cheaper than the Samsung and Apple devices, its starting price is much higher than other budget smartphones.
